Ergonomic vacuum grippers
What is a Vacuum gripper?
Vacuum grippers are lifting aids that lift materials using pressure generated in vacuum cups. The load is sucked into place by vacuum and lifted using Lifts All's Bal-Trol lifting cylinder, which is powered by compressed air. This makes it weightless and very easy to move.
Lifts All’s grippers are frequently used in industrial settings, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers. With small or large vacuum cups and variously designed lifting aids, it is possible to lift everything from large items such as windshields to smaller items such as packages. Vacuum grippers are available in several variants to handle different materials such as cardboard, sheet metal, and wood, and different models are tailored to specific lifting needs and capacities. Both heavy and light lifting are made easier with a Vacuum gripper. Thanks to the vacuum gripper, you avoid having to lift things by hand. This means you can protect your back and work more ergonomically.
Below are some examples of vacuum grippers we have manufactured over the years.

Advantages of vacuum grippers
Switching from manual lifting to vacuum lifting makes it possible to lift various types of cargo easily and ergonomically, which is a positive change for both the operator and the company as a whole. You can read about some of the benefits below:
Ergonomic
A Vacuum gripper the weight off your shoulders, reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries caused by repeated lifting.
Effective
With a Vacuum gripper , you Vacuum gripper quickly and effortlessly, since you don't have to strain yourself when lifting.
Simple
Our vacuum grippers have only a few buttons and are easy to operate.
Customized
Lifts All vacuum grippers that are customized to the object you need to lift and how it should be handled.
Gentle
The suction cups on the lift gently lift your products leaving marks.
Vacuum gripper various surfaces and materials
A Vacuum gripper best suited for lifting relatively dense and uniform materials. For example, you can use it to lift sheet metal, glass, and plastic. We can also equip the gripper with vacuum cups designed to lift cardboard boxes and other types of loads. If you want to lift a package secured with packing tape, you can add a cell rubber strip to the suction cup for even better coupling. For uneven, porous materials, one of Lift All’s mechanical grippers often works better. With our Basic multi-grippers, you get the benefits of both a Vacuum gripper a hook gripper in one. Our knowledgeable sales engineers will help you find a tool that fits your specific needs.
Functional lift
Lifts All’s vacuum grippers can do more than just lift your products. Depending on how you want to position them, our designers create lifting tools with additional features, such as tilt and rotation. With a tilt function, you can position objects from an upright to a horizontal position, or vice versa. With a rotation function, you can rotate your objects. This means you can place your products exactly the right position without having to adopt awkward working positions. For example, you can move them between different workstations, place them high up on a shelf, down on a pallet, or into a rack. If you need to position your load into a compartment, you can lift it using the controls to roughly the right position, and then manually adjust it with your hands. The fact that the gripper is not static is one of the differences between using pneumatic lifting tools and a traditional electric hoist. Vacuum grippers improve ergonomics during manual handling and make it possible to lift and handle heavy loads more efficiently and with less effort.
Ergonomic and user-friendly Vacuum gripper
None have to suffer from repetitive strain injuries caused by repetitive lifting. Lifts All’s lifting aids are ergonomic, which means they relieve the body of both the physical strain and wear and tear caused by repetitive tasks. Even light lifting can take a toll on the body if done frequently enough.
Our vacuum grippers are easy to learn and simple to operate. In most cases, it takes just one or two button presses to maneuver the load. The grippers are ergonomically designed to be used by people of all heights. No special physical ability or strength is required to lift. This creates a safe and efficient workplace where more people can handle heavy lifting. It becomes easier to rotate staff and collaborate across different types of workstations. As a result, tasks that previously required two people can now be easily handled by one.
Safe Lifting
Vacuum grippers are very safe to use. This is because they are equipped with a safety system that ensures the tool cannot lift the load until it is securely attached by vacuum. The lifting tool detects when the load is in the air and then disables the release button, so the load cannot be dropped while in the air. If the air supply were to suddenly be cut off, the vacuum gripper would instead slowly and gently lower itself to the floor. The risk of dropping and damaging the goods is thus minimized, as is the risk of being injured by falling goods. We offer training so that everyone who uses the lifting tool can operate it efficiently and safely. Both your staff and the load are in safe hands!
Focus on Lifting Techniques
By lifting correctly, you can avoid strenuous tasks that can lead to repetitive strain injuries over time. That is why lifting technique is of great importance when Lifts All lifting aids. Here are some occupational health and safety factors we take into account to ensure optimal lifting technique:
– Height
At what height do you need to reach? Tall or deep shelves can often be reached with an extended handle. The task becomes much easier when you don’t have to bend or stretch to reach what you need to lift.
– Handling
The lift is also designed based on how you handle your object and where in a potential production line you will use it. Factors we take into account include, for example, whether the object needs to be rotated or tilted, placed into a box, or assembled with another component.
– Workspace
Will you be lifting within a large or small area? The area where the lifting will take place affects the type of suspension system you should use. Overhead crane systems can cover very large areas, while a crane may be a good choice if the lifting takes place within a limited radius.
Vacuum grippers for smart material handling
In material handling, materials or goods may, for example, be moved, assembled, or loaded. Vacuum grippers are commonly used for all of these tasks. Examples of material handling applications where a Vacuum gripper be used include:
- In a workshop when something is being assembled
- When an item is to be packed in a package
- When loading onto a pallet
- When storing and organizing, for example, when moving items to a warehouse shelf
- In a production line adjacent to an existing handling system, for example, to load items into machines or onto conveyor belts.
So - what do you want to lift?
