Lifting tools for the automotive industry
The grippers we have produced for the automotive industry help with lifting work on production lines. Thousands of lifts are carried out daily from a conveyor belt for mounting on the vehicle, or placing in and taking out of production machines. The average weight of an object that we have been asked to produce a gripper for is between 5-30 kg. These grippers are usually customised to lift specific components, that cannot be gripped by a simple vacuum gripper.

Another momentum in automotive production that we have a lifting tool for is windscreens. We have produced grippers to help mount windscreens (glass) on buses, cars and trucks. The gripper lifts from a rack and carries it to the mounting board where the operator can calmly, and with both hands free, prepare the screen for mounting onto the vehicle.
