Different types of lifting equipment
Lifting equipment refers to the various types of equipment needed to lift, raise, or lower objects. At Lifts All , we offer a wide range of lifts, including standard and custom solutions. With the right lifting equipment, you can easily lift both light and heavy objects. If you can’t find the lifting equipment you need, don’t hesitate to Contact us help. Lifts All offers custom lifting solutions designed to meet each customer’s specific requirements. This may include customized lifting equipment for unique applications and objects—to ensure optimal lifting performance.
Vacuum grippers use vacuum technology to lift and transport objects with flat, smooth surfaces—such as glass panels and plywood.
Mechanical grippers lift by clamping around the object being lifted. This is often well-suited for more porous materials that are not dense.
With a hook, you can lift heavy or light objects using a sling, handle, or strap. It’s ideal for lifting items such as bags or buckets.
In many cases, magnetic grippers have been superseded by vacuum or mechanical lifting aids. However, in certain situations, they can still be a good choice, such as for flat and round objects made of steel or cast iron.
Traverse systems are flexible suspension systems designed for use with, for example, hoists or lifting tools. Traverse systems expand the working area and allow the operator to use the tool within a circular range.
- Cranes:
Cranes come in many different models. Lifts All offers custom-designedjib cranesandslewing cranesthat can be combined with our lifting attachments. The jib cranes feature infinite rotation, which means the operator can reach a 360-degree area around the mast. The slewing cranes are extremely lightweight yet robust, and at the same time easy to work with.
Benefits of using lifting equipment
Increased safety
Using lifting equipment reduces the risk of accidentally dropping the load. A dropped load can cause injury to both the operator and the load itself. This can result in painful injuries, as well as costly waste when damaged cargo must be discarded or repaired. Lifts All’s lifting equipment features built-in safety systems that minimize the risk of the load being dropped. A green light illuminates when the correct vacuum pressure is reached, indicating that the load is securely gripped; before that, it is impossible to lift the load.
Increased efficiency
Manual lifting leads to physical fatigue, which makes it impossible to maintain an efficient pace. Lifting equipment can increase efficiency by removing the burden of lifting. When the body does not become fatigued, the work pace can be maintained or even increased.
Minimize work-related injuries
Repeated lifting can lead to repetitive strain injuries over time. Using lifting equipment always reduces the strain on the body, which means that the risk of work-related injuries is significantly reduced. When injuries are reduced, companies can save a significant amount of money on the sick leave they ultimately result in.

Questions and Answers About Lifting Equipment
Why is lifting equipment important?
Lifting by hand for a short period of time can often work, but it doesn’t take long before the body starts to suffer damage even from lighter lifts. Lifting equipment is a simple way to get help with lifting tasks without feeling the physical strain. That is why most modern companies choose to invest in lifting equipment to protect their employees from workplace injuries and thereby increase efficiency and profitability.
What types of lifting equipment are available?
