As soon as Basic touches down on a surface, it locks into place and is ready to lift the load. The user decides when and how fast to lift using the up and down buttons. The buttons provide proportional speed, meaning the more you press the button, the faster Basic lifts or lowers. This proportionality, combined with the endless rotation of the load, makes it easy to position the load more carefully and precisely.

Safer Lifting

Basic is a reliable lifting device. If the preset vacuum level is not reached, Basic will not allow the lift to proceed. If the vacuum level drops during the lift, Basic will slowly lower itself to the floor. There are two options for releasing the load:

1. Release in the air – a firm press of the red button releases the load.
2. Unload first – requires the load to be resting on a surface before Basic allows it to be released when the red button is pressed.
