Emilia has been working at Lifts All since May 2022. With experience as an entrepreneur and a strong interest in people, she combines both heart and mind in her work, ensuring that everything from salaries to labor law is handled properly and adhered to. In this interview, we get to know Emilia a little more and discover something about her that few people know!

How long have you worked at Lifts All and what are your previous experiences?

I started at Lifts All in May 2022, initially as a coordinator. Now I have been here for about 3.5 years. Before that, I worked as a hairdresser and ran my own salon.

How did you end up at Lifts All?

I decided to close my salon and look for something different. Since I had previously run my own business and been responsible for my own employees, I already had experience in HR work, albeit in a completely different industry. I applied to Lifts All because it seemed like a cozy workplace with wonderful people – and not least, adorable dogs.

What are your responsibilities as an HR Specialist?

I handle the entire payroll process from start to finish, report to authorities, serve as a support function for employees and managers, and monitor and review changes in labor law, such as employment protection legislation and collective agreements.

What do you enjoy the most about your work?

I enjoy being able to work both operationally and strategically, using both heart and mind in what I do.

What is the most challenging part of your work?

When I started, Lifts All was a small company, so the transition from how we worked back then to how we operate today as the business has grown has been challenging. At the same time, it has been very fun and rewarding to take part in building up the company, which makes it all worthwhile.

What is one of your best memories from your time at Lifts All?

Oh, it’s hard to choose just one, but I think I’ll have to say my first day at work. I got to walk around and meet everyone, everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I felt like part of the team right away.

Tell us something that not many people know about you.

Alongside my regular job, I run two businesses: one as an artist and another in e-commerce. In the e-commerce business, I work both as a reseller of various haircare products and with my own brand of hair extensions.
