How long have you worked at Lifts All and what are your previous experiences?

I have worked at Lifts All for 25 years. Before I came here, I worked as a repairman for a gas supplier. I am a trained mechanical engineer and I have worked in that field my entire professional life.

What do you do as a service technician at Lifts All?

Big part of my work includes planning services for customers, installing new lifting tools and there is also a lot of customer support involved. There are a lot of other stuff such as inquiries for service parts and what not, but other than that these are my main tasks as a service technician.

What are good qualities to have as a service technician?

It’s good to be stress-resistant and able to keep several projects going at the same time, but also be prepared that in periods we work in different pace. Often, several jobs come in at once and there is a lot to do and at times it is a little bit quieter.

What is it like to work at Lifts All?

There is a lot of freedom in your work, and you have your own responsibilities. Decision-making is often quickly done, and we stumble upon a problem we solve it rather quickly. I think that is one of the reasons that it has been going so well for us as a company.

What do you do in your free time?

In the winter I drive snow scooter, and in the summertime, I chop wood. I like being out in nature and preferably with my two dogs, called Lizzie and Axa.

What are the biggest challenges you face in your daily work?

To catch up during more intense work weeks. It’s important to be able to let go of work and go home, even knowing you are not finished with a project. You have to switch off and come back the next day to pick up where you left off. It can be challenging to find a balance.

Decision-making is often quickly done, and we stumble upon a problem we solve it rather quickly. I think that is one of the reasons that it has been going so well for us as a company.
