Interests:

Isac has worked as a workshop fitter at Lifts All since 2019. Before that, he worked as both a furniture upholsterer and as a service technician for the subway in Stockholm. Here, he talks more about what it’s like to work at Lifts All and what qualities can be good to have when working as a fitter.

What are your main tasks?

I assemble customized lifting tools. I used to work with constructing the Basic, one of our standard tools, but now I work specifically with customized lifting solutions.

What are important qualities to have as a workshop fitter at Lifts All?

It is important to be solution oriented, patient and like to work in a team. I work a lot with customized solutions, so many changes are made along the way and you often have to stop and rethink, and maybe do things differently from how it was originally intended

What do you do when you’re not working?

I mostly hang out with my friends and my girlfriend. I play a lot of computer games with one of my colleagues as well. Me and my girlfriend are also thinking about getting a cat.

How do you like working at Lifts All?

It is good! I have nice colleagues and it has a good atmosphere. It’s fun having everyone working as a team. Regardless of what you work with at Lifts All, we all work together in one way or another.

What motivates you in your daily work?

I think the most fun, and what motivates me the most, is starting on a new project. It is fun to test yourself and see what works or not when building a new tool.

What are your previous work experiences?

I am a trained furniture upholsterer. I worked with that for 3 years while studying. Both my grandfather and uncle were in the upholstery business so that is how I ended up doing that. I have also worked as a service technician for the subway in Stockholm, and as a builder for a short period.
