Manella works as Aviation Sales Coordinator at Lifts All, handling administrative tasks and supporting the Head of Aviation Sales. Before joining Lifts All, she worked at Samsung and in the travel industry. Read on to find out what motivates her at work, as well as some fun facts that even people who work with her don’t know!

How long have you been at Lifts All, and what are your previous work experiences?

I’ve been working at Lifts All for almost a year. Before this, I was a Sales Coordinator at Samsung, and even further back, I worked as a project manager in the events and travel industry.

What made you choose to start working at Lifts All?

I thought it sounded like a really interesting industry. Lifts All sells lifting tools for things like luggage at airports. Having worked in the travel industry, I could see myself contributing with my knowledge and expertise. I know how hard baggage handlers work and how physically demanding it is, so the idea of ergonomic tools sounded great. It’s also extra rewarding to work for a good cause!

What tasks are included in your role as Sales Coordinator?

I handle offer quotations, order management, presentations, contracts, procurements, and various financial tasks. My main task is to assist the Head of Aviation Sales and handle all the administration, since he travels a lot.

What motivates you in your work?

The end result. When a customer is satisfied with the products, and you can see that it helps them in their daily work.

What’s the hardest part?

Understanding all the different components of our products. I’m not very technical in that sense, so it has taken me some time to learn.

What is it like working at Lifts All?

It’s very exciting and fun! Lifts All is a small, family-like company, so you get involved in all of the processes from the beginning and work together all the way. It’s great because it gives you a complete overview of things. Of course, it can be demanding at times, but you learn a lot along the way!

I also really appreciate the inclusive company culture we have. All my colleagues have different backgrounds and ages, but we get along so well and do fun things together.

Tell us something that not many people know about you.

I love soul and R&B music, and I had a dream of becoming a singer. I actually got far enough to receive a record deal! Unfortunately, the timing wasn’t right as it wasn’t possible for me to tour while I had small children.
