What are your main responsibilities as a technical writer?
In my role, I am responsible for gathering all the information needed to create our manuals. I ensure that protocols and tests are carries out correctly for all lifting tools and that they meet requirements for CE-marking.
How long have you been working at Lifts All, and what are your previous experiences?
I have been working at Lifts All for about five years. And before that I worked as a writer, editor and translator. I also worked as a project coordinator. Before moving to Sweden, I worked in PR and as a writer for a magazine in Malaysia.
What do you do when you are not working?
Then I´m a ‘Taxi-Mom’! I drive my kids around. When I´m not doing that, I spend a lot of time cooking and online shopping. I go swimming, jogging, and in the winter skiing, both downhill and cross-country.
Tell us something not many people know about you.
When I was a child, I wanted to become a teacher because I wanted to tell people what to do. However, my career goals have changed quite a bit since then.
What´s working at Lifts All like for you?
I really enjoy it. I appreciate the freedom I have in my work, and it’s nice that everyone in the company knows each other so well. Working together and striving for shared goals creates a positive working environment. It’s fun to work with products that you believe in and that are of high quality.
What is the most challenging aspect of your work?
The most challenging aspect must be the significant responsibility to ensure that we comply with all laws and regulations for the documentation to be accurate. Especially when it comes to lifting tools for cleanroom environments, precision and attention to detail are required to ensure that everything is absolutely correct and accurate.
