Certifications
Our lifting tools are safe to use in certain ATEX atmospheres. With every order of a new ATEX tool, a risk assessment is carried out and protocols need to be followed. The risk that may arise is that of static electricity, and this is eliminated by the installation of an Earth cable. After the customer has potential equalized the rest of the workplace and the surrounding elements, the tool is safe for use in ATEX atmospheres.

Installation and service
Yes, we do. We start off by assessing how often the lifting tool will need to be serviced based on how it is used. Our service technicians will then come and service the tool for you at regular intervals, usually every 1 – 1.5 years.
Installation of a tool normally takes half a day to 2 days depending on the suspension (rail system or crane), the size of the premises and the lifting tool.
Yes, you can, although this depends on the lifting capacity of the system and its condition.
This depends partly on how often they are used, and partly on what they are used for. How many lifts per day does it do, and how heavy are the loads? These factors plays a big part in estimating service intervals.
The tools are mounted onto a crane or traverse system. You can assemble the tools yourself or you can hire our Service Technician to assemble the tool onsite.
On our website there is a form that you can find here. Fill in the form and click ‘Submit’, and we will help you from there.
Lifting tools
A lifting tool or a lifting solution is a device designed to lift various objects or loads in industries. Our lifting tools look and work differently depending on the kind of load that needs to be lifted. We have lifting tools that work with vacuum, mechanics, or even magnets. Some lifting tools can also rotate or tilt the load as necessary. There are different ways to install a lifting tool, e.g., on a rail system or with a mobile jib crane. It can also be mounted onto a jib crane that is installed on a wall or up on the ceiling.
A vacuum lifting tool lifts uses suction cups that grip the load for lifting. A mechanical gripper clamps or hooks onto the load, instead.
Customized lifting tools are one of the most highly demanded products we manufacture. We design the lifting solution for a specific product, taking into consideration the weight of the load and how it needs to be handled. You can read more about our customized lifting solution processes here
Our lifting tools are powered by clean and dry compressed air, 6-7 bar. We also offer a few tools that are powered by electricity.
Yes, the ProWood is available in 2 standard models – one with tilt and one without.
Yes, the ProWood 100 can lift wet boards.
This may happen, but it depends on the type of material/load you are lifting. In each individual case, we prefer to have all the necessary details in order to make a solution that fits your product perfectly.
Not usually. However, it depends on the humidity in the freezer, and how low the temperature is in there. Contact us for a solution customized to your needs.
Manuals
The manual is delivered approximately two weeks after delivery of the tool. The manual contains, among other things, instructions on how to install, use and service the tool, safety instructions, drawings, and the CE Declaration of Conformity for the machine.
Yes, you can order an extra copy of the manual if you have misplaced the original.
Safety and use
The maximum lifting capacity of our lifting tools differ, from between 5 – 250 kg. Although the technology we utilize can lift up to 600 kg, our lifting tools are generally made to replace manual lifting.
The maximum sound level of our lifting tools is <78 dbs. They are generally quiet during operation and completely silent when not in use. The noise level also depends on the work carried out and the load you are lifting.
Our lifting tools are not made for outdoor use. Certain machines have been adapted to work outdoors under a form of permanent roofing. If your working environment is outdoors, contact us to see what we can do for you.
Yes, but for products in very dusty environments, or products that give off a lot of dust, we recommend individual case assessments and onsite visits before the order is confirmed.
Yes, the surfaces of the tool can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth, or a little methylated spirit if oily and as necessary. We do not recommend washing the tool with soap and water. Our stainless-steel lifting tools for cleanrooms are made for even easier cleanability.
Yes, we can manufacture lifting tools in FDA-approved materials and in stainless steel to tolerate the more rigorous cleaning needs of a cleanroom. After approved testing these lifting tools can be used in cleanroom environments where hygiene is of the utmost importance.
No, our tools usually come with a built-in safety feature that ensures that the load cannot be released until a solid surface is detected under the load, or when the weight of the load has been supported from underneath.
Yes, our tools can be customized to grip painted surfaces without causing any damage.
For lifting tools for loads under 500 kg there are no official requirement for inspection. However, most of our customers engage independent parties to inspect all their lifting tools once a year.
